With a few exceptions, all jewelry designs are made with Swarovski crystals, and sterling silver or gold-filled findings. All are the best quality available to insure you will look your elegant best!! As with your fine jewelry, it is best not to wear your jewelry when cleaning the house or using other chemicals. They should also be removed before showering, shampooing and using hairsprays, perfumes and cremes. These things can dull and damage your treasurers. Never use bleach to clean jewelry. Here are some suggestions for care and cleaning:

SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL: Fine crystal will break or chip if dropped on hard surfaces or allowed to "clink" together with other jewelry pieces. Damage of this type is not covered under our guarantee. Should you experience this type of damage, you may request a repair order for a small fee. If the crystal should become oily or dusty, mix Formula 409 with warm water (50/50 mixture) and allow the piece to soak for about 5 minutes. Remove, rinse very well and dry carefully. You will notice the metal will shine up too!!!

STERLING SILVER: Jewelry pieces made with sterling silver will naturally develop a delicate silvery-grey patina over time. Some people love this color and the antique feeling it gives to a piece. However if you prefer a bright shine, you can use a silver cleaner to restore the shine, followed by washing the piece in the Formula 409 mixture. Use care if your piece is made with Bali silver, as the antiqued effect will be removed.

All jewelry is shipped in plastic ziploc bags that contain a 3M tarnish tab. This little tab will help keep the piece shiny and in like-new condition. It is recommended to store your treasure in this bag, thereby protecting it from oxidation and becoming scratched.

If you have ordered a bracelet or anklet made with the elastic beading thread, please note that since we do not manufacture the product, we cannot control its longevity. Roll it carefully onto your wrist or anklet, taking care not to overstretch it. Keeping it free of oil and dirt will also help keep it from getting brittle.
